Richard Kovacevich “Big Rick”, 66, of South Bend, passed away on Saturday November 6, 2022, in his residence. Rick was born April 4, 1956, in South Bend. On April 23, 1977, in South Bend Rick married the former Carol Hummel she survives along with their son Dana Richard Kovacevich of South Bend and one grandson Bradley Rome Kovacevich, and his brother Christopher (Linda) Kovacevich of Jimtown. Rick was preceded in death by his parents Donald Gray and Marjorie Kamiski, a daughter Stacey Ann Kovacevich, a sister Cindy Jean Kovacevich, and a brother, Sam Kovacevich who passed on September 28, 2022. Rick was Maintenance Technician for many healthcare facilities in the area. Visitation for Rick will be on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. in Hahn Funeral Home, located at 505 w 8th Street Mishawaka.
