Joseph W. Paczkowski
Joseph W. Paczkowski, 853. S. Lombardy Drive, died at 1:45 a.m. Saturday in a nursing home at 735 S. Kenmore St., after a one and one-half year's illness. He was born March 13, 1877, in Garrett, Ind., and came here from there 60 years ago. He was a former Studebaker employee. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Clara Strozewski; a son, Zygmund; tow sisters, Mrs. Mary Michalak and Mrs. Lottie Michalak, and a brother, Ignacy, all of South Bend; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Hedwig Catholic Church with Rev. Boleslaw Sztuczko, pastor of the church, officating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish Cemetery.
