Edwin A. Willamowski, Jr., of Mishawaka, was born February 6, 1934 on the west side of South Bend to Edwin A. Willamowski, Sr. and Joan (Wojciechowski). He passed away with loved ones surrounding him on the morning of August 19 after complications from Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 85. Ed was a 1952 graduate of Riley High School. On July 6, 1957 he married Mary Frances Edholm, daughter of Sidney A. Edholm, Sr. and Frances (Gibbs). He was employed by Studebaker for 12 years, Armco Steel for 1 year, and retired as Master Scheduler at AM General after 36 years.
Ed was a member of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus and a past Grand Knight of the 3rd Degree of Council #5521. Upon moving to Mishawaka in 1973, he became a long standing member of St. Monica Catholic Church and was a former member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
