Armanda “Mandy” Purchiaroni, 86 years old, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023, in Elkhart, IN. Mandy was born on January 29, 1936 in Castelfidardo, Italy to the late Fernando and Iris (Sora) Zoppi. On June 25, 1955 Mandy and Eugene “Gino” Purchiaroni were united in marriage. Mandy was preceded in death by her husband Gino, son, Leo and her brother Enzo. Mandy is survived by her daughter; Debra (Phil) Jerome; son Mark (Paula) Purchiaroni; daughter-in-law, Linda (Craig) Bailey; six grandchildren; Ryan (Elaina) Jerome, Dr. Marlena (Jason) Strandir, Lauren (Kyle) Bennett, Benjamin (Kaitlin) Jerome, Leo Purchiaroni and Giovanna Purchiaroni and eleven great grandchildren; Jackson, Joley, Charlotte, Leo, Katherine, Gabriel, Eleanor, Emmitt, Matthew, Maverick and Thorin. Mandy is also survived by her sister Rosanna Castiglione and two brothers, Carlo and Gabriel Zoppi. A celebration of Mandy Purchiaroni’s life will be held in the Spring of 2023 in the Detroit, MI area. Details of the time, day and location will be announced.
