Stephen A. "Crowley" Goralski, 90, formerly of South Fairway, South Bend, passed away on Friday, Aug. 19, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born on December 26, 1914, in South Bend, to Joseph and Rose (Bonek) Goralski, who preceded him in death along with two sisters, Phyllis Nagy and Eleanor Sciba; and two brothers, Harry Goralski and Ted Goralski.
On November 30, 1940, in South Bend, Stephen married Esther Grzadziela, who passed away April 14, 1989. Surviving Stephen are a brother, Joseph (Joan) Goralski of South Bend; and two sisters-in-law, Adeline Goralski of South Bend and Tillie Goralski of Texas. Stephen retired in 1980 from A.M. General. He was a member of St. Adalbert Church, Harvest House of St. Adalbert's, PNA Lodge #83, St. Joseph Young Men's Society, Breezers Club and UAW Local #5. Visitation will be today, August 21, from 2 to 7 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, Aug. 22, at noon in St. Adalbert Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
