The funeral mass for Mrs. Josephine R. Pietrowski, 64, of 111 Holcomb St., La Porte, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Emerson officiating. She died Wednesday, August 23, 1995, at University of Chicago Hospital.
Friends may call at Haverstock Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and at the church from 10:45 a.m. until the service Monday. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mill Creek. She was born July 18, 1931, in South Bend, to Gus and Mary (Wroblewski) Borkowski, and had lived in La Porte for 17 years, coming from South Bend. Mrs. Pietrowski had attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. On February 14, 1953, in La Porte, she married Joseph Pietrowski, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mary Ann Bishop, Susan Jasinski, Tina Buss, and Nancy, all of La Porte; one son, Larry, of La Porte; six grandchildren; one sister, Helen Wesszo of South Bend, and three brothers, Edward, of La Porte; Arthur, of New Carlisle; and Richard, of Mill Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Raymond and Gus, Jr.
