Adam W. Hoy, 38 of Mishawaka passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 21, 2017 in his home. He was born on February 18, 1979 in Mishawaka to Wayne W. Hoy and Debra L. (Miller) Bybee. Adam is survived by his father, Wayne W. Hoy of Oneonta, AL; his mother Debra L. Bybee of Mishawaka; his children, Gabriella M. Hoy and Lucas W. Hoy, the mother of his children, Chrissy A. Hoy all of Osceola; a sister, Brittany A. Hoy of Osceola and two brothers, Michael P. (Amy) Hoy of South Bend and Brian J. Hoy of Buchanan, MI. He is also survived by his Uncle Robert (Ilene) Miller of South Bend; three nieces and two nephews. Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Lois Miller. He was employed as a Welder for Cross Trailers in Elkhart. Adam enjoyed working on cars, going fishing, playing video games and walking the River Walk. He also enjoyed watching his favorite teams the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Falcons.. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hanley and Sons Funeral Home “Southwest Chapel” located at State Road 23/W. Ireland Road, South Bend. The family request memorial contributions be made to donor’s choice.
