BATON ROUGE, LA ... Joseph, 81, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014. He was born in South Bend, IN and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Joseph was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Joseph is survived by his wife, Darlene; daughters, Barbara Branscum and husband John, Sr., and Cindy Kabzinski; grandchildren, Ashley Mills, Jennifer Robertson, John Branscum, Jr. and Jessica Branscum; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Lilly Robertson; sister, Loretta Plumbo; brother, Robert Kabzinski and wife Barbara; and extended family. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Kabzinski; three brothers, Stanley Kabzinski, Richard Kabzinski and John Kabzinski, Jr.; and sister, Evelyn Peterson. Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am until service time. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, conducted by Brother Wayne Austin in Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary, LA. Special thanks to the VA Home in Jackson, LA, Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary, LA and to the Crossing Hospice for the loving care that they provided to our husband and father.
