SOUTH BEND - Martha Neland, 93, of Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Clayton Drive and Eldorado Lane, died at 2:05 p.m. Saturday in the nursing center. Mrs. Neland was born June 15, 1902, in South Bend. On May 8, 1928, in South Bend, as Martha VanParis, she married Henry R. Neland. He died May 3, 1968. She is survived by two daughters, Colette F. Williams of Granger and Nancy C. Roskuski of Bonita Springs, Fla.; a son, Robert L. of North Liberty; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a sister, Anne VanParis of South Bend; and a brother, Frank VanParis of Mishawaka. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Granger. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the funeral home.
