ELKHART, IN - Jean M. Moskowitz, 82, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017, at her home. She was born Dec. 24, 1934, in Elkhart, to Carl and Alexandria (Kielts) Knudson. On Oct. 7, 1961, she married Harry Moskowitz; he survives along with two children Richard Moskowitz and Lorie Tubbs; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Marling. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Clara Cutshaw, Edward Knudson, Earl Knudson and Eugene Knudson. Jean was a member of the Women of the Moose, Grace Lutheran Church, American Orchid Society and Michiana Orchid Society. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts and volunteering at Heart City Health Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the noon service Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
