SOUTH BEND - Margaret Botka, 92, formerly of South Bend, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2009, in Kingston Care, Ft. Wayne. Margaret was born on August 22, 1917, in South Bend, to the late Simon and Catherine (Czapla) Pishnoff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo Botka; sons, Paul and Kevin; daughters, Nancy and Annette; sister, Stella Botka; and by her brother, Henry Pishnoff. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Campbell of Ft. Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Scott (Cindy) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Tim (Michelle) of Fisher, IN, Jeff (Sande) of Knoxville, TN, and Allison (Kyle) Otting of Columbus, OH; daughter-in-law, Barbara Botka; nine great-grandchildren; and by her two brothers, John Pishnoff and Edward (Nancy) Pishnoff, both of South Bend. Margaret was a faithful member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church all of her life. She belonged to the Rosary Society and Harvest House. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009, in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 2505 W.
