SOUTH BEND - Clara Radziwil, 92, passed away at 1:22 a.m. Saturday, April 28 in Healthwin Specialized Care Center.] Clara was born on July 10, 1914, in South Bend, to Valentine and Martha (Langner) Sobecki. On April 15, 1944, Clara married Ignatius Radziwil. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Ignatius on July 22, 1993; sister, Gertrude Harlozinski and brothers, John and Edward Sobecki. Clara is survived by her daughters, Barbara Paczkowski of Mishawaka and Marcia (Jim) Parrish of South Bend; son, David (Cherrie) Radziwill of South Bend; grandchildren, Kirsten (David) Cannon, Courtney (David) Sharp, Jessica Radziwill, Dawn Parrish, Scott Parrish; great-grandchildren, Kenzie Sharp and Austin Parrish; sisters, Ann (Dave) Bryant, Loretta Maure, and Emily (Odell) Williams; sister-in-law, Gerry Sobecki; and brother, Benedict (Val) Sobecki. Clara was a homemaker, parishioner at St. Stephen Catholic Church and then St. Adalbert Catholic Church and belonged to the St. Theresa Society. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday April 30 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 8924 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1 in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Adalbert Catholic Church.
