OSCEOLA - Lee "Bud" Florea, 89, of Osceola, passed away on Friday morning, May 27, 2011. Lee was born June 22, 1921, in Grant County, Indiana, to Charles Joseph and Flossie Mae (Hinkle) Florea. Lee is survived by his loving wife, Alvina June Wallace, who he married on August 24, 1941, in Argos, IN. Also surviving are three daughters, Marilyn (Denny) Kite of Granger, Jan (Charlie) Robison of Osceola and Sabrina (Jim) Spry of Spartanburg, SC; eight grandchildren, Mike, Nicole, Johanna, Cory, Scott, Tanner, Jeff and Kayla; 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jack, Zachary, Aubryn, Trenton, Bryce, Mazie, Charlie, Wyatt and Caroline. Lee has a sister, Madeline Blue of Marion, IN, and a brother, Richard, also of Marion. As well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Harry Lee, and by two brothers, Joe and Jim, and by a sister, Mary Broyles. Lee served in the United States Army Air Corps in the 381st Bombardier Group during World War II. He retired from Wheelabrator-Frye in 1983. Lee loved to play cards and fish, as well as working on his John Deere tractor. The daughters lovingly thank Lee and Alvina for the wonderful family vacations and the strong family upbringing they unselfishly gave during the 69 years of marriage. We Love You Dad! Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 31, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 1st, at noon, with Michael Taber officiating the services. There will also be visitation on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Burial will take place at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Kidney Foundation.

Lee is survived by his wife, Alvina (Wallace) Florea; three daughters, Marilyn (Dennis) Kite, Jan (Charles) Robison and Sabrina (Jim) Spry; his siblings, Madeline Blue and Richard Florea. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, where funeral services will be on Wednesday at noon, with visitation from 11 a.m. until services. Burial will be 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth, IN.
