Theo "Bennie" Verleye
February 21, 1905 - January 24, 1988

Theo "Bennie" Verleye, 82, of Largo FL, formerly of Mishawaka, died about 5:30 pm Sunday in Largo Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Verleye formerly worked as secretary-treasurer of Verleye-Guyslinck-Smessaert Insurance Co., in Mishawaka. He was born February 21, 1905, in Mishawaka, and lived in the area until 1971, when he moved to Florida. On November 29, 1934, in Mishawaka, he married the former Ann Coppens. She died April 22, 1976. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday in Hahn's DeVos Funeral Home, 505 W. Eighth Street. Mr. Verleye was a member of the BK Club and was a fourth-degree knight at Knights of Columbus Council 1878, Mishawaka. He was a member of St Patrick's Catholic Church, Largo.

Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday in Hahn's DeVos Funeral Home.
