SOUTH BEND - Donald J. Bejma, 71, passed away at 6:35 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011, in his residence. Donald was born on February 11, 1939, in South Bend, to the late Walter and Marie (Jaronik) Bejma. On October 22, 1966, he married Marlene A. (Wituski), who survives along with their three children, Ann Marie Bejma, Jennifer L. (Patrick) Henthorn and Michael J. Bejma, all of South Bend; and by his granddaughter, Sierra Henthorn. Don retired from AM General in 2003. He was a member of PNA #83, ZB Falcons Nest #80, and was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Donald was an avid Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed watching movies. He was a 1957 graduate of Washington High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 - 1962. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
