SOUTH BEND - Eleanor Carol Koscielski, 76, passed away at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in Rivercrest Specialty Hospital. Eleanor was born on November 4, 1934 in South Bend to the late Adam and Helen (Gadacz) Koscielski. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Dr. Stanley Koscielski and Chester Koscielski; and by her two sisters, Jeanette Zakrzewski and Genevieve Koscielski. She is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Griffin of South Bend and Alice Lesniewski of South Bend; and by several nieces and nephews. Carol was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Central High School. She was formerly employed by Travelers Insurance Company, and had worked for the Public Library. Funeral Services were officiated by Fr. Don Guertin, CSC, on Thursday, June 23, 2011 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
