Regular programs of the Society are held at 7:00 p.m. on the last Monday of each month (except for January, February & December) at:

Every second year, the election of officers shall be held at the regularly scheduled program in November; installation shall be at the March program.
Visitors are welcome. Membership is suggested.

On Monday, July 28, 2025, the South Bend Area Genealogical Society will feature a presentation by Jill Morelli, CG, CGL, on Seven Swedish Sites.
Jill is a writer, lecturer, and co-founder of the online Applied Genealogy Institute, providing practicum-based educational opportunities for genealogists. She specializes in Scandinavian research and is constantly honing her methodological skills. She lectures nationally and has written articles for National Genealogical Society Quarterly, Swedish American Genealogist, and many others.

On Monday, August 25, 2025, the South Bend Area Genealogical Society will feature a presentation by Glory-June Grieff on the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in Indiana. Established by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1935, the WPA provided unemployed workers with jobs for eight years, giving support to 25 percent of American families. The WPA also indexed a large part of the birth, marriage and death records of many of Indiana’s 92 counties.

On Monday, October 27, 2025, the South Bend Area Genealogical Society will feature a presentation by Peggy Warner titled “Family Legacy Through Quilts – Solving the Questions of a Mystery Quilt”. Among the quilts Peggy will show is a quilt that is over 170 years old! She’ll also share the stories of quilts of her family.
